For this work, my assignment was to rebrand any country of my choosing and create a brand guide for it. I chose to rebrand The Bahamas because I wanted to incoorporate more of a tropical feel into their logo. I also wanted to play with bright colors, patterns, and textures.

The logo I created was hand drawn with India ink, scanned, and then turned into vectors and I added colors from the palette I chose. As for the pattern, I used an organic pattern, known as a Matisse Pattern, in different shades from the color palette. The texture is a simple photo of water with the opacity turned down to 75%.
